Mission
To cultivate individuals who possess the scientific competencies required by the age, are rooted locally but open to universal values, adopt the guidance of science as a principle, can think creatively and critically, are free and libertarian, value ethical principles, have developed nature and environmental awareness, are dynamic, inquisitive, entrepreneurial, and also interested in arts and sports; and to offer solutions to regional and national problems through scientific research and development activities.

Goals
The goal of the unit is to act within the framework of a contemporary education plan and to implement practices based on current university-industry collaboration. In addition to equipping students theoretically, practically, socially, and culturally, it aims to contribute to the development of a generation that observes national values and human and moral principles. Furthermore, it aims to develop the unit and its practices in a way that sets an example at national and international levels.
